Mission Statement 2017     

The mission statement for The Bureau for the Organisation of Origins was born in open collaboration between engaged participants following the 2017 inaugural exhibition.

Project Anywhere 2022-23

Out of Office… is a hybrid physical/virtual office space where The BOO undertook its core business. In February 2023, the Fitzroy Gardens Pavilion was activated as a collaborative space and hub for The BOO develop and present new content and to host the exhibition The Origin of Images.

Art & the Public Sphere 2019

Art & the Public Sphere provides a new platform for academics, artists, curators, art historians and theorists whose working practices are broadly concerned with contemporary art's relation to the public sphere.

The Origin of Images (Oi!)

Everybody has a story. Not, for most of us, a grand overarching narrative that draws together the various strands of our life into one neat, consistent thread but a collection of unique, discrete, and occasionally contradictory chapters that come together only in the telling.
